We recently met the couple from Sweden- lovely people- behind Gallop Magazine yesterday whose thinking and work reminded us of just how diverse racing is, how it can be united like a Benetton poster and just how creatively the sport can be marketed. And Gallop brings all this together.

The first thing one notices about these Canda Neste Traveller version of racing publication are the photograph- spectacular photographers from around the world- some well-known, others amateurs with a great eye for detail and even some superb work by former jumps jockey Ron Goodwoody.

“Here is a glimpse into a part of the racing world that more people should learn about.”

“Where to now for Gallop? Well, the word really and we’re more than happy to join them for the ride.”

They see the future of racing from a fresh global perspective and have everything to introduce the sport to the current casual race-goer without speed maps, tips that are meaningless numbers and all the other obligatory and ubiquitous old school remnants of horse racing.

Gallop proves that one picture is worth a thousand words. And when there are thousands of brilliant visuals, well, it revolutionizes the marketing of a sport with such a rich history and starring some of the most beautiful animals in the world.
