We won’t get it right all the time- no one does- but, hopefully, we give you enough leads to have you in front at the end of the day.

THE BEST FATHER’S DAY VIDEO!
HARLOW DALI PIC TIPS FOR TODAY
Oh, dear our young entourage comprising Sarika, Natalie and Justin again stumbled at the first hurdle and to add to the pain, all their other selections won!
Justin, always optimistic, thinks the threesome are getting closer while birthday girl Sarika is sure that the Six Up will be just one of her birthday presents after a big night of celebrations at dragon-i last night.
CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW
Now sailing the high seas looking for treasures and trying to track down Keith Richard from the Stones, the good Captain has sent us a sparrow and some pigeons to tell us to forget looking for value in any Malaysian pearls or young warriors still to find their feet.
(Source: Vixen Pixie)
He has however told us to rev up Cruz Control on horses ridden by Terry CW Wong and to lose yourself in Rome searching for berries at the end of the day.
THE FAST TRACKER ON SUNDAY AT SHATIN
Shit happens and huge props to Chief Stipe Stipe Kim Kelly, below, chief veterinarian Chris Riggs and the HKJC’s director of racing operations John Ridley for the speed in they acted to avert a crisis regarding the contaminated US-made compound feed that made its way to Hong Kong.
Instead of Sunday At Shatin, it could easily have been a Shitin in la la land sitting at home and reading about whistleblower and computer hackers. But how the HKJC averted this crisis with military-like action which any racing club in Oz would have turned into an episode of the bumbling Keystone Cops should be a case study in leading from the front and crisis management at its best.

We’re now out of the woods, and also not Malice In Wonderland held to ransom by the genie who escaped from the bottle and enjoyed freedom for a very short while.

Other racing news has been the Matty Chadwick incident carried by the Chinese racing papers with an enquiry to come, the new riders given licenses for next season- Colm O’Donoghue from Ireland, Italy’s Nicola Pinna, South African-based Karis Teetan- and the news that Brett Prebble is making next season a shortened one to concentrate on his Persuader race-gear business. Sure.
Though unsure about Persuader, persuasive and big-race owner Lloyd Williams awaits for him in Oz with his army of horses as do the big races and Prebble can now have two cakes and enjoy eating both.
It’s nothing personal, it’s just business and, like Craig Williams has been doing, it’s looking after Number One, having the chance to win some of the really big races in Oz and looking after the family. And more power to him for that. Family comes first.
Looking at today’s card, it will be another good day for Dougie Whyte with winning chances on King Haradasun- anyone watch the brilliant win of the Tony Vasil-trained Prince Haradasun at Moonee Valley yesterday?- Hypersonic and All You Wish- while The Zac Attack has given his all, but his bullets might have run out.

For twelve consecutive years, Whyte has proven that whatever formula he has fine-tuned to win the Jockeys Premiership is bullet-proof and it sure looks like championship thirteen awaits despite many ankle biters trying to derail him.

As for the trainers premiership, Dennis Yip holds a two win lead, but one can never count out John Size and Tony Cruz with the latter looking like he’s entered his entire stable for this meeting. His ear piece looks set to be given a damn good work out as he communicates with his community of alien friends.
Two horses I’ll be watching closely are both with John Size- the Racing Club’s new one in Young Warrior (Race 4) which has a tongue tie and lugging bit added and the ring tongue bit removed- and Tarzan I Am (Race 10) which flopped as favorite at Happy Valley last time out.
This time out, it takes a class hike, has Ben So aboard and only 111 pounds to carry while Dougie Whyte rides All You Wish two pounds over for Dennis Yip. Very interesting.
Elsewhere, if Dougie Whyte starts at ridiculously short odds in the Jockeys Challenge, go for Tommy Berry.
I now leave you with this: The best new gay poster I have seen.
Selections From The Big Apple
(Source: The Watchnerd)
Race 8, No. 1 Time After Time
Far from disgraced when hitting the line strongly in the Sha Tin Vase. Can make amends on an each-way basis.
Race 7, No. 9 Formula Won
Ran with merit when fourth to All You Wish despite being blocked in the straight. Returns to the 1400m and is proven over wet ground.
Race 10, No. 9 Tour de Force
Recent places behind Gurus Dream and Sea Diamond prove his competitiveness in this grade. Rough place claims.
