What more can one say that hasn’t been said before in so many ways about this very special horse- and the team around her?
There is something magical about Black Caviar.
She always appears at the right time and reminds us all about the power, beauty and, dare I say it, passion behind horse racing.
At a time when Australian racing has had to survive a number of bumps in the road, this horse has come along to make the big bad bogey men go away- at least for a while.
At Flemington today, Black Caviar returned to racing and made us all feel good about, not just racing, but about ourselves, about those closest to us and even gave us that intangible thing called Hope.

This is a miracle horse that has changed lives- some forever.
A horse that has reminded and inspired us to respect team work by introducing us to Peter Moody, Luke Nolen and the unselfish owners who keep sharing their gift with us.

Call me stupid or naive, but this team, led by this wonderful animal, is what the Beatles and John Lennon what were are to music.
Thanks everyone for all the memories. If there are to be more, it’s a bonus.
