THEY SHOOT HORSES, DON’T THEY?

The Macau Jockey Club is said to be having its usual problems: financially bereft horse owners.
So what is the controversy plagued club meant to do?
Well, the last time this problem reared its ugly head, the Hong Kong media exposed through photographs, healthy horses owned by these bankrupt owned being secretly put down.
Word is that this is taking place again and with carcasses dumped into the seas where waiting boats are there to collect them and then sell them to restaurants.
This same story appeared around twenty years ago whereas healthy greyhounds crammed and mishandled at that animal torture chamber that is the canidrome on the enclave meet far worse endings.

All very sickening and one reason I can take the Peyton Place that is Macau in small doses and cannot bear to look at the horses running there, most of the rides, Angela Ho, below, who runs the club and the yobs who pass themselves off as legitimate horse owners.

Just like most of the crap you post about Macau and the MJC total rubbish … the worst bit is you know it is but you just want to support the HKJC and all it does
